thank you for taking the time to be here. i am not sure what here is exactly but we'll find out together. unbeknownst to me, photography turned out to be something i really enjoy and finally gave me a reason to setup a blog to share my photos. over and above the sharing of the photos, sharing my new home is also really important. the culture and the people have had a profound impact on me and i feel compelled to accurately document the ordinary as it is simply fantastic. i prefer shooting in black and white because this forces me to think about what i am doing. i find color makes it easy to take photos without really considering composition. that said there are color photos here because some things cannot be explained in monochrome.
anyway. enjoy. i think you will come to love this little island as much as i do.
